Afternoon Shift Dispatcher

About the role

Charger Logistics is seeking an Afternoon Shift Dispatcher to join its growing team in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. You will coordinate delivery schedules, communicate with mobile units, and ensure timely, safe transport of a diverse range of freight, including temperature‑controlled and HAZMAT cargo.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in dispatching pending loads, scheduling drivers for pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor and modify daily routes using mapping software to accommodate customer needs and road conditions.
• Communicate freight requirements, safety procedures, and routing directions to drivers.
• Update customer web portals with load information and track drop‑off and hook‑up events.
• Analyze transportation plans to reduce costs and ensure optimal trailer pool placement.
• Participate in problem‑resolution with internal teams and maintain compliance with dispatch standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of logistics or transportation experience.
• At least 2 years in a customer‑service role.
• Fluent English (both written and spoken).
• Strong time‑management and multitasking abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using mapping or routing software.
