About the role

Gildan is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join its Finance department. The role involves receiving, validating, and processing supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Enter daily documents into JD Edwards (P3, PV, PP) for invoice accounting and payment processing.
• Perform daily cleaning of warehouse receipts (OV) in the non‑voucher account to keep aging within company limits.
• Use ServiceNow to track and resolve invoice issues, ensuring they are entered into the accounts payable module for payment.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations based on the annual reconciliation plan and inter‑company schedules.
• Conduct monthly physical inventory audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Accounting, or Business Management.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar accounts payable role.
• Basic knowledge of internal control procedures applicable to the area.
• Proficiency in English.

Required skills

• JD Edwards (P3, PV, PP) navigation and data entry.
• ServiceNow ticketing system.
• Microsoft Office suite.
