Driver Operations Specialist

About the role

Charger Logistics is seeking a motivated Driver Operations Specialist to join its San Pedro Sula team. You will act as the primary liaison between drivers, dispatch, and customer service, ensuring shipments move smoothly from pickup to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor north‑bound dispatches from Laredo (LRD) and Nuevo Laredo (NLD).
• Handle driver calls and inquiries, providing timely support and resolution.
• Maintain regular communication with drivers to track shipment progress and guarantee on‑time execution.
• Follow up on pickup, transit, and delivery status, identifying and addressing potential delays.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Representatives on any changes or updates before, during, or after transit.
• Communicate operational changes, delays, and relevant shipment information to internal teams.
• Assist drivers with operational questions and escalate issues when necessary.
• Ensure accurate and timely updates are reflected in the appropriate systems.
• Proactively identify service issues and work with internal teams to minimize disruptions.

Required profile

• College diploma or university degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in customer‑service roles; logistics or customer‑service background is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Excellent time‑management, prioritisation, and multitasking capabilities.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish.
