Senior DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

FullStackFullStack is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer specialized in Kubernetes to join its talent network and work on remote, project‑based assignments for U.S. clients. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and scale containerized applications on Kubernetes clusters.
• Build and maintain deployment automation and service lifecycle management.
• Configure DNS architecture, authoritative servers, and domain delegation.
• Set up and manage email infrastructure, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
• Develop web‑scraping, content generation, or data‑transformation pipelines.
• Implement monitoring and observability using Grafana, Prometheus, or similar tools.
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to backend services written in Go, Python, Java, or related languages.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Platform Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and self‑hosted open‑source platforms.
• Strong background in DNS, email authentication, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Practical knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with Linux systems, networking, PKI/TLS, and security concepts.
• Ability to work through complex issues, contribute to shared libraries, and thrive in Agile/Scrum teams.
