UH-60 Maintenance Test Pilot (UH-60 MTP) – Honduras

About the role

The UH-60 Maintenance Test Pilot conducts flight test missions to verify aircraft airworthiness after maintenance or modifications. The position is based in Honduras and requires close collaboration with military pilots and technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Perform test flights, recovery flights and ferry missions, measuring performance and handling.
• Interpret meteorological data, file flight plans and compute weight‑and‑balance logs.
• Complete all required military flight and maintenance documentation, including discrepancy reports.
• Conduct aircraft technical inspections, evaluate power‑plant sections, and assess crash‑damaged aircraft.
• Support AS9100/AS9110 internal audits, corrective actions and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma; 10+ years aviation maintenance experience.
• At least 1,000 PIC hours preferred; recent proficiency check (within 12 months).
• Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain/maintain US Government Secret clearance.
• Successful completion of Army Maintenance Test Pilots Course (MTPC) or equivalent.
• Current FAA Commercial Certificate with instrument rating and valid Class II medical certificate.
