Gestor de Desarrollo Integral

About the role

World Vision Honduras is seeking a Gestor de Desarrollo Integral to join its team in Santa Ana, La Paz. The role focuses on supporting vulnerable children and families by coordinating community‑based development initiatives and volunteer activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mobilize community volunteers to implement local development projects.
• Design and apply participatory methodologies with children, adolescents, and youth.
• Coordinate and monitor community projects that address poverty and improve quality of life.
• Ensure compliance with World Vision’s policies on equality, child protection, and safeguarding.
• Maintain a residence within the area of influence and travel as needed, including motorcycle transportation.

Required profile

• University or technical training in Social Sciences, Pedagogy, Agronomy or related fields.
• At least two years of experience in community volunteer management and local development projects.
• Proven ability to work with children, adolescents and youth using participatory approaches.
• Willingness to reside in the designated zone of influence.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motorcycle.
