Lead Platform Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Platform Engineer to join the Engineering Platform Team of a global automotive services leader. You will drive the design, automation, and security of our developer platform, working hands‑on with cutting‑edge cloud and AI tools to boost productivity across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop reusable GitHub Actions for the development community.
• Build, maintain, and evolve AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and release automation for faster delivery.
• Lead DevSecOps initiatives, ensuring security, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Establish AI‑assisted engineering standards with Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
• Mentor engineers through architecture guidance, design discussions, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and Scrum Master on planning and delivery.
• Participate in production support and continuous platform improvement.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in software or platform engineering.
• At least 1 year of proven technical leadership and mentoring.
• Advanced proficiency in Python.
• Strong experience with AWS and Terraform.
• Excellent written and spoken English (B2+ level).
