Supervisor de WASH

About the role

World Vision is seeking a motivated Supervisor de WASH to lead water, sanitation and hygiene projects in San Pedro Sula. You will work directly with communities, local authorities and partners to ensure safe water and basic sanitation services are delivered effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the construction and maintenance of water supply and basic sanitation systems.
• Coordinate with municipalities, water boards and community groups to align project activities.
• Plan, monitor and report on project progress, budgets and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with World Vision’s safeguarding policies and local regulations.
• Operate 4x4 vehicles and motorcycles to access remote sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in water, sanitation, infrastructure or community‑development projects.
• Proven experience supervising construction works and basic sanitation systems.
• Experience working with communities, municipal authorities and water committees.
• Ability to use computer tools for technical design and reporting.
• Valid driver’s license for 4x4 vehicles and motorcycles.

Required skills

• Computer‑aided design (CAD) or similar technical design software.
• Project planning, monitoring and reporting tools.
• Operation of 4x4 vehicles and motorcycles.
