Supervisor de WASH

About the role

World Vision is seeking a motivated Supervisor de WASH to lead water, sanitation and hygiene projects that improve the lives of vulnerable children and communities. You will work on the ground with local partners, ensuring that safe water and basic sanitation systems are designed, built and maintained according to project standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the construction and maintenance of water supply and basic sanitation infrastructure.
• Coordinate with communities, municipal authorities, water boards and other partners to ensure project alignment.
• Monitor project progress, prepare technical reports and ensure compliance with World Vision’s safeguarding policies.
• Utilize computer tools for technical design, planning and reporting.
• Travel to project sites and operate 4x4 vehicles and motorcycles as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in water, sanitation, infrastructure or community‑development projects.
• Proven experience supervising construction works and basic water‑sanitation systems.
• Experience working directly with communities, local governments and water‑service partners.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer tools for technical design and reporting.
• Ability to plan, monitor and document project activities.
• Capability to drive a 4x4 vehicle and a motorcycle.
