After Hours Dispatcher

About the role

Charger Logistics Inc. is a world‑class asset‑based carrier operating across North America. We are seeking dynamic individuals with a passion for helping people to join our fast‑paced Customer Service team as an After Hours Dispatcher.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with customers via phone, email or fax, responding to queries professionally and promptly.
• Track and trace a large volume of customer orders and ensure daily delivery schedules are met.
• Enter, update and process customer orders across multiple interfaces.
• Handle client complaints, provide solutions within set time limits and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Confirm pickup and delivery appointments for drivers and convey specific freight requirements.
• Research and resolve transactional problems to ensure timely reporting.

Required profile

• 2+ years of sales and account management experience in transportation and logistics (preferred).
• Recent college or university degree in Marketing or a Business‑related field (required).
• Previous experience in an analyst or pricing role (asset).
• Ability to understand business processing requirements and devise creative technology‑based solutions.
• Strong knowledge of sales planning, negotiation and closing skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation abilities with strong interpersonal skills.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team.
