About the role

The Junior Accounts Payable Analyst will support the finance department by ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and related documents using JD Edwards. The role contributes to the institution's financial integrity through strict adherence to internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, validate, and manage documentation for accounts payable processing.
• Digitize and record supplier support documents and reimbursements in the system.
• Process and post invoices, advances, reimbursements, and employee settlements.
• Administer travel expenses, per diems, and petty‑cash transactions.
• Prepare cash requisitions for payments to suppliers and collaborators.
• Issue checks according to payment schedules and authorizations.
• Organize, classify, and store physical and digital documentation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date controls, reports, and schedules in Excel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in public accounting, business administration or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, tax or administration.
• Strong orientation to service and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience using JD Edwards or similar accounting systems.
