Asistente de Programas CBT

About the role

The Assistant will support the national emergency response in Honduras, focusing on cash‑based transfers, commodity vouchers and value vouchers to reach affected populations quickly. The role contributes to operational capacity, data collection and analysis, and ensures alignment with WFP policies and OCHA commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out specialized technical activities related to cash‑based transfer programmes, ensuring compliance with WFP policies.
• Support project management and office operations, applying PMA procedures and tracking programme milestones.
• Collect, record and analyse data on food assistance needs, resource utilisation and programme progress.
• Prepare timely reports to inform operational decision‑making and share information with internal and external partners.
• Serve as a point of contact for general operational queries and coordinate with technical teams, NGOs and public institutions.

Required profile

• Completion of secondary education; post‑secondary certificate in a relevant field is valued.
• Minimum five years of experience in similar humanitarian or programme support roles.
• Fluency in Spanish (C level) and working knowledge of English for reading WFP materials.
