Azure Data Engineer – Remote

About the role

As an Azure Data Engineer you will design, build, and maintain high‑performance data pipelines within Microsoft’s cloud ecosystem. You will transform raw data into actionable insights, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security for global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage end‑to‑end data integration pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• Develop and optimise scalable data architectures with Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric.
• Write and refine complex SQL queries and Python scripts for data transformation and processing.
• Orchestrate data workflows to deliver analytics‑ready datasets reliably.
• Apply best practices for data modelling and storage to support Power BI reporting.
• Monitor platform performance, tune resources, and ensure data integrity and security.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering.
• Proven expertise building and optimising pipelines with Azure Data Factory and Synapse Analytics.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL within the Microsoft data ecosystem.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI integration.
• Deep understanding of data modelling, ETL/ELT patterns, and cloud‑native architecture.
• Advanced English communication skills.
