About the role
We are looking for a Billing Specialist to join our on‑site team in La Ceiba. The role supports billing operations for a U.S.-based freight client, acting as a key liaison between the client and a nearshore support team. You will work closely with the client’s in‑house staff to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
Key responsibilities
- Process and verify billing transactions for freight services.
- Communicate billing inquiries and resolutions to the client and internal teams.
- Collaborate with a nearshore team that functions as an extension of the client’s operations.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with billing standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot billing discrepancies promptly.
Required profile
- Native‑level English proficiency, both written and spoken.
- Strong grammar and written communication skills.
- Previous call‑center or customer‑service experience.
- Critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
- Demonstrated good attendance record or longevity in prior roles.
