About the role

As the Design Department Coordinator at Galeas Arquitectos, you will lead the full architectural design process from concept to execution, ensuring technical, functional and aesthetic quality. You will act as the main liaison between the design team, clients, consultants and authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and supervise the design team, assigning tasks to senior and junior architects.
• Review and validate architectural proposals, preliminary designs, construction drawings and final deliverables.
• Coordinate integration of architectural design with structural, electrical, sanitary, mechanical and other disciplines.
• Monitor design progress for each project, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
• Manage permits and approvals with municipal and relevant institutions.
• Facilitate communication and continuous technical review with external consultants and internal departments.
• Maintain direct client relationships, providing follow‑up on deliveries and revisions.
• Assess technical, constructability and financial viability, guaranteeing coherence between design, execution and costs.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture and a Master’s in Project Management (mandatory).
• At least 10 years of experience in architectural design and project coordination, with proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of construction regulations, urban planning and permitting procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Advanced Excel and MS Project.
• Familiarity with Rhino and Grasshopper (desirable).
• Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
