Design Coordinator – Architecture

About the role

The Design Coordinator will lead the full architectural design process, from concept through execution, ensuring technical, functional, and aesthetic quality. This position represents the design department to clients, consultants, and authorities while managing interdisciplinary collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and supervise the design team, assigning tasks to senior and junior architects.
• Review and validate architectural proposals, schematic designs, construction drawings and final deliverables.
• Coordinate integration of architectural design with structural, electrical, sanitary, and mechanical disciplines.
• Monitor design progress, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
• Manage permits and approvals with municipal and relevant institutions.
• Maintain continuous communication with external consultants and internal departments for technical reviews.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, tracking deliveries and revisions.
• Assess technical, constructability and financial viability of projects, aligning design with execution and cost constraints.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture and a Master’s in Project Management (mandatory).
• At least 10 years of experience in architectural design and project coordination, with proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of construction regulations, urban planning and permitting processes.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
