DevOps Engineer (AWS) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

FullStack is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer (AWS) to join a U.S. client’s team on a remote, project‑based basis. You will work closely with designers and engineers, ensuring reliable, secure, and automated infrastructure for large‑scale applications.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate into the client’s development team and collaborate daily with designers and engineers.
• Maintain and secure Linux‑based servers, including patching, AD integration, and shell scripting.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot databases such as MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Docker, and Artifactory.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Puppet, or Chef.
• Build and run Java applications (Maven, Gradle, Spring) and support Node.js environments.
• Monitor systems using tools like Splunk or Dynatrace and produce clear documentation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and take ownership of delivery quality.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional DevOps or Systems Engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong background in Linux infrastructure, scripting, and security.
• Hands‑on experience with database administration and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to work on large, complex systems in an Agile environment.
