Financial Analyst FP&A (Bilingual)

About the role

Avery Dennison is seeking a bilingual Financial Analyst to support its FP&A function. The role involves close collaboration with global operations, providing financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to drive business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Support and assist in the month‑end close process, including journal entry preparation and data validation.
• Conduct financial and expense performance analyses, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investment assessments.
• Assist in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process and coordinate cost‑center budget preparation.
• Provide financial analysis for Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) and strategic planning initiatives.
• Prepare forecasts, analyze trends in manufacturing, sales, and overall business conditions.
• Develop detailed work plans for assigned projects, perform research, and present recommendations to management.
• Support departments in budget formulation, review actuals versus budget, and issue variance statements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• 4‑5 years of finance or related experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with all management levels.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with spreadsheet formulas, linking, data extraction, and graph creation (Excel).
• Experience designing and maintaining macros, tables, and queries in WordPerfect or similar word processors.
• Knowledge of database tools such as Access for report generation.
• Research methodology expertise and ability to produce comprehensive financial reports.
