Forward Deployed AI Engineer – Sales & Marketing Systems

About the role

Speedrack West is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to design, build, and launch production AI systems that automate and enhance sales and marketing workflows. This hands‑on position works directly with business leaders to turn real‑world problems into reliable AI agents and integrated solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy multi‑step AI agents for lead qualification, pipeline intelligence, quote follow‑up, call analysis, customer expansion, ad optimization, SEO, and lifecycle marketing.
• Integrate AI solutions with CRM platforms, advertising tools, websites, analytics, email systems, call transcripts, and internal databases.
• Implement APIs, webhooks, async queues, scheduled jobs, and event‑driven workflows.
• Build supporting infrastructure such as tool registries, evaluation pipelines, testing frameworks, and observability dashboards.
• Design feedback loops that measure business outcomes and continuously improve agent decisions.
• Define human approval points, failure handling, audit trails, and escalation procedures.
• Collaborate with department heads to translate loosely defined problems into production‑ready systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering production‑grade AI agents or multi‑step workflows.
• Hands‑on work with large language models (e.g., Claude, OpenAI) and agent orchestration.
• Strong expertise in tool/function calling, structured outputs, and API integration.
• Ability to own end‑to‑end system architecture, implementation, deployment, and ongoing improvement.
