About the role

The organization seeks a Finance Manager to lead the financial management of its national office in Honduras. This role ensures accurate, timely financial information and supports strategic decision‑making aligned with the mission of serving vulnerable children.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all financial operations of the Honduras office, including preparation, analysis, and interpretation of financial data.
• Oversee budget planning, financial control, regulatory compliance, and provide strategic support to senior management.
• Promote a culture of transparency, efficiency, and sustainable resource use.
• Coordinate financial reporting, audits, and donor‑funded project accounting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration; additional training in financial planning, audit, or project management is a plus.
• 5‑7 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Experience in NGOs, international cooperation, or donor‑funded projects is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Honduran accounting standards and basic IFRS.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP financial systems.
• Familiarity with data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Understanding of IFRS and Honduran GAAP.
