About the role

Davivienda Honduras is seeking a visionary leader to head the claims function for its North Zone. As the Claims Manager (SPS), you will be responsible for the strategic direction, financial sustainability, and operational efficiency of the claims portfolio while fostering high‑performance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the claims officers team in the North Zone, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous technical improvement.
• Ensure financial control of the area by supervising complex claim files and authorizing indemnity payments.
• Negotiate high‑level agreements with key providers to secure preferential commercial alliances.
• Maximize profitability of insured portfolios through executive management of the salvage, recovery, and subrogation committee.
• Design and implement action plans aligned with the overall strategic plan, turning loss‑ratio indicators into executive decisions.

Required profile

• University degree in Administration, Accounting or related fields (mandatory); Master’s or postgraduate studies highly desirable.
• Proven senior management experience in the insurance sector, with deep knowledge of policy underwriting and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to motivate and develop teams in a results‑oriented, participative style.
• Strong executive negotiation skills, strategic conflict resolution, business vision, and capacity to operate under complex, high‑pressure situations.
