IT Office Support Consultant – Talent Pool

About the role

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is building a talent pool of qualified IT Office Support Consultants to provide end‑user IT assistance across its representations in Latin America and the Caribbean. Successful candidates will help staff use hardware, software, connectivity and training resources effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site IT support to IDB personnel, ensuring optimal use of workstations, mobile devices and collaboration tools.
• Provision, configure and manage standard workstations throughout their lifecycle in line with corporate guidelines.
• Maintain web‑conferencing equipment and ensure reliable performance.
• Assist with the upkeep of networking, telecommunications, security systems and coordinate with local service providers.
• Support the rollout of new IT initiatives and act as a liaison with other IT teams.
• Document incidents, service requests and updates in ticketing systems and related dashboards.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in IT support or related fields.
• Proficiency in English and one additional official IDB language (Spanish, French or Portuguese).
• Experience with customer support and, optionally, project management (PMI standards).
