Lien Negotiator Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Lien Negotiator Specialist to support the review, management, and resolution of medical liens and related documentation in personal injury cases. The role requires strong communication, accuracy, and the ability to handle multiple cases in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior negotiators with reviewing, organizing, and analyzing medical bills, insurance statements, and lien documents.
• Request, track, and follow up on lien information, itemized statements, and account balances.
• Review and account for medical bills and subrogation liens for distribution sheets.
• Maintain accurate lien logs, case notes, and documentation in the firm’s case management system.
• Manage correspondence from subrogation providers and alert negotiators to required actions.
• Collaborate with case managers, paralegals, and attorneys to ensure smooth case closure and timely disbursement.
• Perform high‑accuracy data entry and document management.
• Uphold confidentiality and comply with legal, ethical, and firm standards.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience in personal injury or related legal environments.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and legal documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time‑management abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in document handling.

Required skills

• Proficiency with case management software.
• Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
