Litigation Support Assistant – Civil Litigation

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Litigation Support Assistant to join our fast‑paced litigation department. The role involves assisting attorneys with discovery, case management, and court‑related tasks for active civil litigation matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft responses to written discovery (interrogatories, requests for production, admissions).
• Create propounded discovery aligned with case strategy.
• Prepare Judicial Council and local court forms, summarize medical records, and build medical chronologies.
• Perform Bates stamping, organize document productions, and maintain privilege logs.
• Assemble deposition exhibits, prepare binders for hearings, and draft subpoenas.
• Maintain Filevine activity logs, update calendars, and coordinate attorney availability.
• E‑file Notices of Settlement, Requests for Dismissal, and manage court reservation systems for motions and ex parte hearings.

Required profile

• Experience supporting litigation attorneys on active civil cases.
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and California‑specific rules (preferred).
• Proven ability to draft discovery and court‑related documents.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment and managing tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail and professionalism with confidential information.
