Project & Service Manager – Utility Projects

About the role

The Project & Service Manager is the single point of ownership for delivering utility‑scale photovoltaic (PV) and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across Europe. You will act as the primary customer contact from contract hand‑over through commissioning, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, cost, and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of end‑to‑end project delivery, meeting safety, timeline, budget, and quality targets.
• Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for customers throughout execution.
• Develop, maintain, and control detailed project schedules; monitor progress and mitigate delays.
• Manage project budgets, control costs, and minimize deviations.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, coordinate inspections and handovers.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; manage change control processes.
• Lead cross‑functional teams including sales, engineering, supply chain, procurement, construction partners, and customers.
• Build strong customer relationships, drive issue resolution, and achieve successful project acceptance.
• Support continuous improvement by leveraging lessons learned and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of project delivery experience in utility‑scale PV projects.
• Experience with large‑scale BESS projects is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of delivering multiple renewable energy projects across Europe, including at least one utility‑scale project of significant capacity.
