QA Automation Engineer

About the role

You will own the quality of web applications by designing, executing, and maintaining both manual and automated test suites throughout the development lifecycle. The role requires close collaboration with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure reliable releases.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and regression suites based on business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system and user‑acceptance testing for web applications.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress or Selenium.
• Test REST APIs, validate responses, status codes and error scenarios.
• Manage defect lifecycle: identification, documentation, reproduction, triage, validation and regression verification.
• Collaborate within Agile teams, communicate progress, risks and blockers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
• Strong hands‑on experience with functional and regression testing of web applications.
• Experience designing test plans and test cases from requirements.
• Proven ability to work independently and communicate effectively in English.
