Senior Full Stack & Backend NodeJS TypeScript Engineer – Remote (LatAm)

About the role

Bluelight is seeking a senior full‑stack and backend engineer to join its remote team serving clients across the United States and Latin America. You will work on high‑impact, low‑latency API services and contribute to both backend and occasional frontend tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs on AWS.
• Integrate third‑party SDKs and build secure multi‑tenant environments.
• Write raw SQL, manage schema migrations, and implement Row‑Level Security in PostgreSQL/AuroraDB.
• Collaborate on React front‑end features when needed.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and write integration and fault‑injection tests.
• Work overlapping US business hours and leverage AI coding assistants in daily development.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and client‑focused mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative remote environment.
• Bachelor's degree required.
