Senior Platform Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join the Engineering Platform Team of a leading global automotive services company. You will own the design and automation of developer platforms, cloud infrastructure, and AI‑assisted engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop reusable GitHub Actions for the organization.
• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Contribute to DevSecOps, security, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Apply AI development standards with Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
• Support peers through design discussions and code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and Scrum Master on planning and delivery.
• Participate in production support and continuous platform improvement.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in software or platform engineering.
• Strong ownership and ability to drive tasks to completion independently.
• Solid proficiency in Python.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS and Terraform.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, GitHub Enterprise, and CI/CD.
• Background in Infrastructure as Code, Docker, and Linux.
• Competency in DevSecOps, production service operation, and security tooling (SonarQube, CodeQL, Veracode).
• Familiarity with PagerDuty for incident response.
• Daily use of Claude Code and/or GitHub Copilot, with knowledge of prompt engineering and LLM fundamentals.
• Strong written documentation skills and English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
