Senior QA Automation Engineer – JavaScript

About the role

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with deep JavaScript expertise to own and expand automated testing across multiple web products. You will focus on browser automation, identity and authentication flows, and ensure high quality releases through robust test coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and extend Cypress automation suites for several products.
• Introduce Playwright tests for new features and uncovered areas.
• Design and execute test scenarios for authentication, token handling, session management, and edge‑case identity flows.
• Run regression, integration and exploratory testing each sprint.
• Perform accessibility checks with axe‑core and report WCAG 2.1 AA findings.
• Execute Lighthouse CI performance checks and flag regressions.
• Create, maintain and organize test cases in TestRail.
• Document defects with clear reproduction steps and environment details.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to validate testable acceptance criteria.
• Align pod‑level QA practices with the broader test strategy and use AI tools for test case generation and defect triage.

Required profile

• 3+ years of Cypress automation experience.
• 3+ years of Playwright testing experience.
• Senior‑level ownership of automation quality across products.
• Proven ability to execute test strategy for regression, integration and exploratory testing.
• Strong English proficiency (B2 Upper‑Intermediate) and clear defect documentation skills.
