Solution Architect – Data Integration (6-month contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Solution Architect who will translate a complex subscription billing model into clear data requirements for our integration team. The role focuses on guiding finance and business stakeholders through the migration from a legacy accounting system to Zuora, while maintaining technical continuity during a planned hand‑over period.

Key responsibilities

• Translate Zuora’s billing model into actionable data requirements for the integration team.
• Lead business analysis for custom billing rules, revenue recognition, and reporting not covered by Zuora professional services.
• Provide transformation guidance to finance stakeholders during the migration from legacy accounting to Zuora.
• Interpret Zuora’s data model and billing logic to unblock integration work, acting as a partial platform advisor.
• Facilitate decision‑making and trade‑off discussions with the controller and finance team.
• Maintain stakeholder communication and technical context continuity throughout the hand‑over period.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven business analysis experience, including requirements gathering, process mapping and gap analysis.
• Strong knowledge of subscription and billing domains, recurring revenue, invoicing and payment lifecycle.
• Experience with ERP or accounting system migrations.
• Advanced English fluency for executive‑level collaboration with a US‑based finance team.

Required skills

• Zuora billing platform (including billing, revenue and CPQ modules).
• Google Cloud Platform tools such as BigQuery, Looker and Data Studio.
