Strategic Resource Management Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an analytical and collaborative professional to serve as a Strategic Resource Management Consultant, supporting the implementation of an IT Financial Management tool and driving financial and resource planning across the Technology and Transformation Department.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring product‑level OKRs and ensure alignment with institutional priorities.
• Collaborate with product teams to align operating methodologies, prioritisation decisions and budget allocation for RUN, GROW and TRANSFORM initiatives.
• Support governance processes for prioritisation and funding decisions, preparing executive reports and dashboards on budget execution and investment performance.
• Help implement and adopt the IT Financial Management (ITFM) tool to improve cost transparency and funding allocation.
• Prepare, allocate and monitor capital and administrative budgets, providing financial analysis and investment proposals.
• Track the use of financial resources, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and measuring value generated by investments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial or cost management, analytical thinking and strategy support.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and spoken); French or Portuguese a plus.
• Citizenship of an IDB member country and no close family members employed by the IDB Group.
