Account Executive – Life Sciences

About the role

We are looking for a consultative, technically‑oriented Account Executive to drive growth for a leading contract microbiology laboratory serving the pharmaceutical, medical device, and cosmetic sectors. You will act as a strategic partner to QA/QC, Regulatory Affairs, and R&D stakeholders, translating complex requirements into precise testing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle—from lead qualification and discovery to proposal generation and closing.
• Engage technical decision‑makers (QA/QC Managers, Regulatory Affairs professionals, R&D teams) as a trusted advisor.
• Translate client technical or regulatory needs into actionable scopes of work with internal technical teams.
• Prepare, deliver, and negotiate detailed quotes and Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
• Maintain pipeline and prospecting activity in HubSpot Sales Hub with accurate forecasting.
• Navigate vendor qualification and regulated procurement workflows within the life‑sciences industry.
• Stay current on industry regulations and emerging testing standards.
• Build long‑term relationships with manufacturing partners to secure recurring business.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of B2B sales experience, preferably selling complex technical or laboratory services.
• Proven success influencing technical stakeholders such as QA/QC, Regulatory Affairs, or R&D.
• Strong scientific literacy and curiosity about regulatory standards.
