Accounting Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations for a portfolio of clients. This role involves managing month‑end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and ensuring GAAP compliance while supporting client relationships and mentoring junior accountants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end close, prepare financial statements, and review journal entries and reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, accruals, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
• Ensure US GAAP compliance and support audits and tax filings.
• Manage client relationships, resolve accounting issues, and identify process improvements.
• Supervise and mentor junior accountants while collaborating with Controllers and CFOs.
• Support accounting system implementations and client onboarding.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and month‑end close processes.
• Advanced Excel skills with experience in Power Query, macros, and automation.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar systems.
