Afternoon Shift Dispatch Coordinator

About the role

Join Charger Logistics as an Afternoon Shift Dispatch Coordinator in San Pedro Sula. You will coordinate and optimize delivery schedules, communicate with mobile units, and ensure timely, safe deliveries while supporting a growing, entrepreneurial logistics team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in dispatching loads, scheduling drivers, and modifying daily routes to meet customer needs.
• Monitor route changes, road construction, and other disruptions, establishing new routes for on‑time deliveries.
• Communicate freight requirements, safety procedures, and routing directions to drivers.
• Update customer portals with load information and pull load forecasts from the system.
• Analyze transportation planning opportunities to reduce costs and ensure proper trailer pool placement.

Required profile

• College diploma or university degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in logistics.
• Strong problem‑solving, time‑management and multitasking abilities.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Ability to work the afternoon shift schedule (Monday‑Friday 3 pm‑11 pm, Friday‑Monday 2 pm‑12 am, with Tuesdays‑Thursdays off).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using mapping software for route optimization.
