About the role
The Operational Expense Analyst will continuously monitor and analyze the organization’s recurring operational spend. The role aims to identify trends, variances, duplicate payments and optimization opportunities across all expense categories, supporting informed financial decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor the recurring operational expense (BAU) of the group by line, area and subsidiary on an ongoing basis.
- Compare historical spend against approved budgets and previous periods.
- Identify "ghost" spend such as active payments for expired contracts, unused services or inactive suppliers.
- Document and present optimization findings with quantified financial impact.
- Prepare periodic expense evolution reports, highlighting trends, variances and year‑end projections.
Required profile
- University graduate in Industrial Engineering, Administration, Finance or a related field.
- Knowledge of advanced Excel, data analysis and corporate finance.
- Experience in finance or project environments.
