Automotive Technician

About the role

Lama Motors is expanding its technical team in Tegucigalpa and seeks experienced automotive technicians. You will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles while upholding the highest standards of quality and technical precision.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics across engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
• Execute preventive, corrective, proactive, and predictive maintenance tasks.
• Repair engines and related components according to manufacturer specifications.
• Interpret electrical diagrams and troubleshoot electronic issues.
• Conduct quality control checks when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in automotive maintenance.
• Proven ability to work with preventive, corrective, proactive, and predictive maintenance approaches.
• Valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Diagnostic expertise for engine management, transmission, and electrical systems.
• Engine repair proficiency.
• Interpretation of electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of CAN and LIN communication networks.
• Quality control execution.
