About the role
We are looking for a Credit and Collections Assistant to support our finance team in Tegucigalpa. The role focuses on managing credit applications, monitoring receivables and assisting with the collection of overdue payments.
Key responsibilities
- Process and review credit requests in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor customer accounts and identify overdue balances.
- Conduct follow‑up communications with clients to secure payment of delinquent invoices.
- Record all credit and collection activities in SAP.
- Prepare regular reports on credit exposure and collection performance using Microsoft Office tools.
Required profile
- Completed secondary education; university studies are a plus.
- Minimum two years of professional experience in credit, collections or related financial functions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of credit assessment and collection processes.
- Experience handling delinquent accounts (mora).
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Hands‑on experience with SAP for financial transactions.
