Bilingual Program Coordinator – Agricultural Projects (NGO)

About the role

The organization seeks a bilingual Program Coordinator to lead the strategy, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of its agricultural development portfolio in Honduras. The role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, strengthening strategic partnerships and ensuring high‑quality execution across regions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the strategy and evolution of the program and project portfolio.
• Ensure technical quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Direct and develop high‑performance multidisciplinary teams.
• Promote knowledge management and continuous improvement.
• Represent the organization with donors, cooperation agencies, public sector and strategic allies.
• Identify new financing opportunities and institutional partnerships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Administration, Social Sciences, International Development or related field; master’s degree preferred.
• More than 8 years of experience leading development programs in international or cooperation organizations.
• Experience managing projects funded by USAID, GIZ, IDB, BCIE or other international donors.
• At least 3 years leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Required skills

• Advanced English language skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience with KPI management and project‑management tools.
• Strong knowledge of the full project management cycle.
