About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Coordinator to supervise the accurate recording of all accounting transactions, guarantee compliance with relevant regulations, and ensure the transparency and reliability of our financial statements. The role will act as a key liaison between the accounting team and senior management, providing insight into financial performance and supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate the proper registration of accounting operations across all business units.
• Ensure strict adherence to tax legislation, commercial law and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Maintain the integration, consistency and completeness of financial data within the accounting system.
• Prepare, analyze and present accurate financial statements and reports to internal stakeholders.
• Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies or irregularities in accounting records.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Public Accounting (Licenciatura en Contaduría Pública).
• Minimum three years of experience in general accounting, tax law, commercial law and IFRS.
• Proven ability to work independently while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Understanding of tax regulations and commercial law as they apply to accounting.
• Proficiency in standard accounting software and Excel for financial analysis.
