DevOps Engineer (Azure + On-Premise) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients on Azure‑based and on‑premise projects across Latin America. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to deliver reliable, automated infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and scale production Kubernetes clusters in Azure and on‑premise environments.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Ansible and Terraform.
• Maintain and troubleshoot physical data‑center resources, including OpenStack, QEMU or Hyper‑V virtualization.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions (Zabbix, Prometheus, ELK Stack).
• Ensure security hardening, integrate SIEM tools (Wazuh) and vulnerability scanners (Snyk, SonarQube) into pipelines.
• Plan disaster‑recovery strategies and manage automated backups (e.g., AWS S3 Glacier).
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and take ownership of delivery quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and advanced English proficiency.
• Proven track record of managing Azure cloud services and on‑premise infrastructure.
• Strong Linux administration (Ubuntu or Talos) and scripting skills (Python, Bash).
• Experience working on large, complex systems within Agile teams.
