Dispatch Coordinator – Afternoon Shift

About the role

Charger Logistics Inc. is seeking a motivated Dispatch Coordinator for the afternoon shift to join its team in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. You will be responsible for coordinating delivery schedules, communicating with mobile units, and ensuring optimal routing using mapping tools.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in dispatching pending loads and schedule drivers for pickups and deliveries.
• Coordinate and modify daily routes to meet customer needs and handle sudden changes such as road construction.
• Communicate freight requirements and procedures to drivers and provide routing directions.
• Maintain compliance with dispatch standards, update customer portals, and monitor safety reports.
• Analyze transportation planning opportunities to reduce costs and manage trailer pool placement.

Required profile

• College diploma or university degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in logistics.
• Strong problem‑solving, conflict‑resolution, and time‑management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish.
