Edecan – Customer Service Assistant (Bank)

About the role

The Edecan will act as the first point of contact for bank clients visiting the branch, ensuring fast, effective service and helping customers become familiar with all the channels the bank offers.

Key responsibilities

• Guide clients through the services available in the branch, minimizing waiting time.
• Accelerate client transactions by promoting alternative channels such as ATMs and self‑service cabins.
• Educate customers on how to use the bank’s digital and physical channels for future independent use.
• Perform checklist inspections of branch facilities and report improvement needs to the supervisor.
• Address waiting clients proactively to reduce overall wait times.
• Refer prospective clients to the appropriate product teams within the branch.

Required profile

• University student (at least 40% of the program) in Administration, Marketing or related fields.
• Minimum one year of experience in customer‑service roles.
• Experience in sales, marketing or commercial activities, preferably with banking products.
• Strong orientation toward results, customer satisfaction and product placement.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends when required.
