Electrical QA/QC Lead (BIM)

About the role

We are seeking a highly technical Electrical QA/QC Lead to support our BIM/VDC team and ensure the quality, accuracy, and technical compliance of electrical deliverables for U.S.-based projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review electrical shop drawings, submittals, and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Validate electrical BIM models and ensure model content reflects approved submittals.
• Check Revit families and electrical BIM content for consistency and accuracy.
• Identify discrepancies, omissions, or technical issues between documentation and BIM models.
• Ensure deliverables align with U.S. standards, codes, and NEC requirements.
• Perform quality control reviews of BIM deliverables before final submission.
• Communicate QA/QC findings and required corrections to the BIM/VDC team.
• Use Revit and Navisworks to inspect models and identify coordination or quality issues.
• Maintain a consistent QA/QC process and flag recurring quality issues.
• Independently manage assigned QA/QC tasks and meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience with electrical systems, construction documentation, and U.S.-based projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and U.S. electrical codes.
• Experience reviewing electrical shop drawings, submittals, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with BIM/VDC workflows and the relationship between documentation and models.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify technical discrepancies.
• Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.
