Farm Worker / Poultry Keeper

About the role

The Farm Worker / Poultry Keeper is responsible for caring for birds and handling eggs on the farm according to the operational manual. The role ensures optimal genetic potential of each line while maintaining bio‑security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Verify compliance with farm rules such as no foreign objects, proper bathing, cleaning and disinfection to prevent egg contamination.
• Collect eggs from the laying area and record them accurately.
• Classify eggs based on uniformity, size, color, shape and cleanliness to meet incubation standards.
• Apply vaccinations and deworming treatments to the birds and report any anomalies.

Required profile

• Primary education (sixth grade) completed.
• Knowledge of laying‑hen management.
• Ability to work outdoors and walk long distances on the farm.
• Willingness to work the normal shift from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm.
