Financial Auditor

About the role

The Financial Auditor will join Grupo Asesores y Consultores Gerenciales to ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial information. You will lead comprehensive financial audits, evaluate accounting processes, and support risk‑based decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Review financial statements and assess accounting processes for compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Plan, execute, and document full‑cycle financial audits, preparing detailed findings, recommendations, and improvement plans.
• Collaborate with other departments to implement corrective controls and address identified deviations.
• Identify financial risks, validate information for strategic decisions, and drive continuous improvement of internal control systems.

Required profile

• Strong ability to prepare, interpret, and review financial statements with advanced finance knowledge.
• Proven experience in financial audit planning, testing, and reporting.
• Knowledge of designing, evaluating, and enhancing internal controls.
• Analytical mindset capable of handling large data volumes and detecting inconsistencies or risks.
• University degree in Public Accounting and Finance; professional certifications in audit or finance are a plus.
• Competent use of spreadsheets and accounting/audit software, with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Team‑oriented, organized, and ethical handling of sensitive information.
