Freelance Textile Inspector – San Pedro Sula

About the role

Pro QC International is seeking a Freelance Textile Inspector to conduct on‑site inspections at textile and garment factories in San Pedro Sula and surrounding areas. The inspector will verify product quality, workmanship, labeling, and compliance with client specifications and relevant standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspections of samples and production lots, measuring and testing textiles against defined criteria.
• Document findings in detailed inspection reports, including photographs and evidence of any quality issues.
• Communicate results clearly to Pro QC project managers and clients, and track corrective actions for non‑conformities.
• Coordinate inspection schedules with factory staff and plan visits to local suppliers as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all inspection activities and ensure compliance with health, safety, and social standards.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of textile and garment manufacturing processes, fabric types, construction, stitching, and finishing.
• Experience in product quality inspection or quality control within the textile or apparel industry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, sampling plans, and quality standards.
• Excellent observation skills, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication in English.
• Good organizational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple assignments independently.
