About the role

The Business Development Manager will design, implement and monitor the growth strategy of Cooperativa Nueva Vida. Working on‑site in Santa Rosa de Copán, you will identify new market opportunities, build strategic alliances and drive commercial actions to expand the member base and product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and potential partnerships.
• Design and execute growth strategies aligned with the cooperative’s objectives.
• Coordinate commercial activities with marketing, operations and finance teams.
• Analyze financial and market data to propose business improvements.
• Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and manage key projects.
• Travel to regional branches in western Honduras for meetings and commercial activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, commercial management or growth leadership within financial institutions, cooperatives or service companies.
• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing or related fields; postgraduate studies in business management or strategic direction are a plus.
• Advanced analytical abilities to interpret market indicators, performance metrics and financial statements.
• Strong leadership, team‑management and project‑coordination skills with a results‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Willingness to work on‑site and travel within the western region of the country.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital commercial management tools (CRM).
• Competence in office‑suite applications and collaborative platforms.
