Information Technology Coordinator

About the role

The Information Technology Coordinator at BALRESA provides day‑to‑day technical support to internal users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and network issues while ensuring reliable and secure IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support to employees.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network problems.
• Monitor system performance and maintain IT equipment.
• Manage IT inventory and ensure proper documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers.
• Document incidents and resolutions.
• Assist with system upgrades, backups and implementations.
• Apply cybersecurity best practices.
• Collaborate with other departments to support efficient operations.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills for issue diagnosis and performance assessment.
• Solid knowledge of IT fundamentals (operating systems, hardware, software, basic cybersecurity).
• Proven experience in technical support and troubleshooting.
• Competence in network administration (configuration, monitoring, maintenance of local networks, routers and switches).
• Excellent communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) preferred.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field is an advantage.
