Logistics Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, detail‑oriented Logistics Coordinator to support our Account Executives and ensure customer shipments are executed smoothly. The role involves scheduling shipments, securing carriers, negotiating rates, and monitoring performance, with full training provided.

Key responsibilities

• Book and schedule all shipments assigned to Account Executives or the team.
• Communicate shipment status, carrier coverage, and operational needs to Account Executives and leadership.
• Locate and secure appropriate equipment using various systems and technology platforms.
• Assign qualified carriers based on requirements, service expectations, and profitability targets.
• Negotiate carrier rates while staying within cost and profitability goals.
• Develop relationships with core carriers to improve service consistency.
• Post shipments to the internal load board and ensure daily coverage.
• Monitor carrier performance and report any service failures or delays.
• Maintain accurate shipment information in company systems.

• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• High accuracy in data entry and attention to detail.
