About the role

As a Machine Learning & Data Pipeline Technical Leader, you will own the design and redesign of scalable data pipelines that feed foundation‑model training. You will work remotely, guiding a team of engineers to ensure data quality, observability, and efficiency across large, multimodal datasets.

Key responsibilities

• Own and redesign robust, scalable data pipeline architecture for foundation‑model training data.
• Diagnose, re‑architect, and optimize failing or inefficient pipelines end‑to‑end.
• Design for scale and efficiency across heterogeneous, multimodal data sources.
• Anchor technical design decisions and mentor implementers throughout execution.
• Establish data observability, traceability, and reliability practices as a disciplined function.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or data pipeline engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python for ML/AI with deep knowledge of Ray.
• Proven ability to independently diagnose and redesign inefficient pipelines.
• Experience designing large‑scale, heterogeneous multimodal data systems.
• Background in data observability, traceability, and reliability engineering.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and decision‑making.
• Experience with distributed compute using Kubernetes.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
